Breed Health

goldendoodle-healthThe fact that some Goldendoodles are hypoallergenic is good news for people that suffer from allergies when they come into contact with dogs – this won’t happen when you meet a Goldendoodle so long as you choose carefully at the breeders.  Check out their parentage, pups from the same litter can have different coat types, as we mention above the fleecy, woolly coats are the very low allergen ones.

Some breeders breed from working type Golden Retrievers as it is thought the working breed have a lower hip score, and they are also slightly smaller and have a wider gene pool so result in healthier pups all round.

Generally a healthy dog, but ensure you check their hip score with the breeder.
